Baby Savanna

Baby Savanna
Our princess

4th of July

Just watched the fireworks up in Boulder City. Cael thought they were pretty neat for about 10 mins.

Playing at the pool in out community with Nick and grandpa Palmer. Cael throws everything into the water.

Cael is jumping into the water. You count 1...2...3 and he will jump off without any help.

Cael's first parade, he didn't care to much about it. He liked the loud cars and motorcycles.

Playing at the waterpark

Cael and his friend Ammon playing at a water park, they both had a blast together and got soaked. It was so hot out.

Cael was standing on this wall throwing everthing into the water. And then he fell off the edge backwards into the mud.

They loved this tunnel, the water wasn't scary to them.

White Water River Rafting

Me, Nick, and Nate (nicks brother) went down the snake river in Jackson Hole. We had a blast as you can see but we froze our butts off for a few fun minutes of whitewater. It was about 55 degrees, raining, and the wind was blowing up the canyon. We are on the left side. Nate is second back, then Nick, and then me.

Yellowstone

Tamara (nicks mom) looking over the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone

Nick and Jay (nick's dad)

Cael on his leash so he doesn't run into the gysers. The kids loved chasing him around

Our trip to Jackson Hole

Nick looking over Jenny Lake

Cael freezing just so we can get a shot of him in front of Hidden Falls

Caden and Sade, Cael's cousins hiking at Jenny Lake

Cael loves to be outdoors as you can see. He went 5 miles that day and did great. Riding on shoulders, running, jumping over every rock he could.

Giving Cael's little legs a break

Ouch!!!

Cael fell running in a parking lot in Jackson Hole.

There is not a day that goes by that Cael doesn't get a goose egg, bruise, and cuts. Today he chipped his tooth. Gotta love boys!!!!
Cael is 15 months now and what a great joy to have in our lives. He is very busy and sometimes very hard to deal with but at the end of the day I still love him. He is now jumping off anything. It started out jumping off the curb. Now he thinks he can jump off the coffee table if I am sitting on the floor, and when we walk down our hardwood floor stairs he wants me to hold his hand so he can jump down 3 or 4 steps at a time. He makes me crazy. But what makes it cute is I started out saying 1...2...3 and then he would jump. Well now he is counting himself, well sort of in his own little way and then he jumps. It is the funniest thing but the most annoying thing. He is crazy as ever and has more energy than both Nick and I put together. Also, Nick taught him to hit a ball with a plastic bat, well I am sure you know where this is going. He hits anything and everything in his way, including me, the cat, and sometimes the balls. He can say ball now and says it 100 times a day.
