Easter in Fillmore

We spent Easter this year in Fillmore with the Starley's. We went out to Liman's Caves and thought we would go out on the fourwheelers but we were wrong. Easter morning we woke up to snow on the ground. Lets just say that I was shocked, so we stayed in and played games and hung out. The night before Easter we died eggs and Cael had a lot of fun doing that. The kids had a great time finding all the eggs around the house and there Easter baskets. It was a really fun weekend hanging out with the family.

A weekend in Fillmore

We went to Fillmore this past weekend to ride four wheelers, we had a great time with Nick's parents. Cael is all about being outside and exploring. Any chance he could get riding in the Razor with his dad he did. And playing in the dirt getting dirty. By the time the weekend is over Cael is so tired. He crashes hard on the way home and the next day. Nick had a great time in his new toy, he was in seventh heaven. He has always wanted to get a four wheeler. I told him that he has to get one that the whole family can go, including Cael. So he got the razor with the back seat and we can all ride in comfort and not to mention style.

On the way to Fillmore Cael wanted to have a snack, I had a pudding but no spoon. Well he wouldn't let it go he wanted the pudding so Nick says let him drink it. So I did and he made a huge mess but he was happy and Nick didn't have to listen to him cry anymore. It's funny what your husband will let your child do when they are crying. If he wasn't crying and throwing a huge fit there would have been no way Cael could have ate that in his truck.

The race is over.

Stormye and I ran in a 13 mile relay race a few weekends ago. We had a lot of fun and it was a great challenge for both of us. When we signed up we thought oh no big deal we can run 7 miles. Well we did but when we were doing it we were thinking to ourselves what are we doing. And now that it is over we are asking when the next one is.

My little is boy is 2

Well we have had a crazy 2 years with this amazing little boy. He has brought so much joy to our lives. A few things about Cael you might want to hear about.
He is very happy, he loves to dance, sing, and be a wild man. He jumps off and on anything and anyone, he loves to watch movies, he loves animals, he is talking so much sometimes I can't believe it. He loves to play with his friends especially Madison. He loves his cousins and grandparents, even though he doesn't see them all the time he remembers them and talks about them all the time. And most of all he loves not to listen to his mom. He is such a good little boy most of the time and I could go on and on about him but I will get on with the pictures.
Cael's birthday party with his friends. We went to a park and had cupcakes and presents. He had a great time and it was great for mom to not plan a big party. We had a great time but missed all the family and friends that couldn't be here to celebrate Cael's 2nd birthday.

Lake Powell over Labor Day weekend

We went to Lake Powell with my Mom and Dave, Nick's parents, Kenzie and Bode, Jon Purser, and the Hammonds. We had a blast. The weather was perfect and got some really good skiing in.

Grandma Plamer gave the boys these hats and they thought they were pretty cool.

Cael and Bode were playing drums on the water jug. Cael loved playing with Bode all weekend in the sand and water.

The kids played in this hole all weekend. Grandpa Palmer dug it for them and who knew it would be the best place for those kids the play.

Cael was having a hard time riding his bike after we got it, until one day he hopped on it and took off. I couldn't believe it, now he is a pro.

More Summer Fun

We went to Laguna Beach with our good friends Nicole and Tyler Hammond. Cael loved the sand but not the water so much.
