Hiking to the Hot Springs

Grandma and Grandpa Gordon came to visit and we went on a 5 hour hike to the hot springs. They hike goes all the way down to the river just bellow the Hoover Damn. We had a blast and Cael loves to hike in his pack. We let him get in the water and of coarse he loved that. He is happy anytime we are outside.

Cael loves to play at the park. Our community we have a great park that we go at least once a day, now that the weather is good.

Cael loved digging into his cake, we had 2 birthday parties for him. One for each side of the family. When you live away from family you get more parties and much more cake to eat. He loved all the attention and playing with the kids.

Cael's 1st hair cut

Today was Cael's big day at the cheap salon. Nick wanted to do it ourselves and I said no way. Well he wanted to shave his head first and I won, so that didn't happen. Cael did great!! I feel like I have moved past the baby stage and I am very sad about it. He is 11 months going on 2 already. I have to apologize in advance if he ever hits any of your kids or you, pushes them down, or is just plain rude. He is already hitting me and beating up on the cat. I try to tell myself he is just a boy, but with a lot of aggression.

Our first adventure without Cael

My Dad and Debbie took us to Cancun with all my siblings and spouses. We missed the little guy like crazy and missed a huge milestone while we were gone. When we came home he was walking all over the place. But Mexico was worth missing his first steps. A vacation very much needed.

Christmas and Sledding

Cael not really caring about his presents, he wanted everyone elses the paper anyway.
So I was the cool aunt taking my neice 6yrs and nefew 4yrs down the huge hill on a tube until we crashed at the bottom, they didn't trust me to much after that. But we had a blast sledding.
